Browse and search public events from the elapso community.
Catalog
The Catalog lists all public events organised by category. Click any category to see the events within it. Categories include Anniversaries, Birthdays, History, Science & Space, Sports, Technology, Culture, Personal Milestones, World Events, School, Free Time, Family, Holidays, Work, and Friends.
Today
The Today view shows public events whose date falls on the current calendar day anywhere in the world — events happening right now. It is a great way to discover historic anniversaries and real-time countdowns.
Map
The Map shows events that have a location set. Each event is shown as a coloured pin:

| Orange | Private event shared with you via a folder |
Pins cluster when many events are close together — click a cluster to zoom in. Click a single pin to see the event title, ticker label, location name, and a link to the event page.
To add your event to the map, set a location when creating or editing the event.
Search
Use the search bar at the top of the page to find public events. You can combine plain text with search tokens:

Tokens can be combined freely, for example: concert city:Brussels after:2026-06-01 #music
Leaderboard
The Leaderboard shows the top 10 users ranked by XP (experience points). XP is earned by creating events, receiving followers, and posting comments. See the Account & profile help page for a full breakdown of how XP is earned.
